The Green Familia is a wonderful blog that has tons of green shopping tips and guides. It is based out of the UK but is still a great resource for all of us here in the US! I love stopping by this site and feel lucky to have been featured a couple of times and will have a few items included in their Ethical Christmas List, so keep an eye out for that! I promise that you will be impressed with all of the hard work the editors put into this blog, so make a point to stop by and have a look!
I wanted to do a quick write-up on them to make you aware that if you like this blog as much as I do, you should consider nominating them for the Green Web Awards! They certainly deserve it and nominations close November 16. I figure it can’t hurt to get as many people as possible to support them in this! Nominating them only took me a minute and you can do so by going to http://www.nigelsecostore.com/green-web-awards/ and clicking on “nominations are now open” then fill out the little form with The Green Familia’s URL: http://thegreenfamilia.co.uk/ and the category would be “eco-blogs and news”.
I will fill everyone in on the results as soon as they are in! Let’s keep our fingers crossed for them!
